Attorney Brian DesRosiers has been practicing law since 1999. His practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning, elder law (Medicaid planning), asset protection, business succession planning, corporate transactions, and general tax matters. Prior to forming DesRosiers & Tierney, Brian worked as a Partner at Cody & Cody, LLC in Quincy and as a corporate and estate planning associate at Cushing & Dolan in Boston.
Attorney DesRosiers has given numerous presentations and lectures on estate planning, elder law (Medicaid planning), asset protection and business succession planning. In July 2010, Attorney DesRosiers appeared as a guest on Money Matters talk radio to speak about Asset Protection Planning. In October 2010, he was featured in an article on estate planning by Senior Market Advisor Magazine. Brian has given numerous presentations as a faculty member for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE), speaking on topics such as business succession planning, charitable planning and postmortem planning.

Attorney James M. Tierney has been practicing law since 1993. His practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning, probate and taxation. Prior to forming DesRosiers & Tierney, Jim worked as a Partner at Cody & Cody, LLC in Quincy, an estate planning associate at Cushing & Dolan in Boston and as a manager for PricewaterHouseCoopers.
Attorney Tierney frequently speaks at client seminars, offering presentations on various estate planning topics. Jim is a Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) faculty member. He has presented at a number of MCLE presentations.

Attorney Frederick Knickerbocker Hayes began practicing law in 2014. Prior to joining DesRosiers & Tierney, LLC. Fred worked as an attorney on the south shore gaining experience in estate planning, probate administration and real estate law.
Fred enjoys assisting clients in creating their estate plans, administering estates and trusts, filing estate tax returns and Medicaid applications. Fred also regularly represents clients regarding contested guardianship and conservatorship cases, nursing home collections, and contested probate administrations, along with various other elder law issues.
Fred received a Bachelor of Science in International Maritime Business from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, where he played for the varsity football team and was a part of the Regiment of Cadets. Upon graduation Fred worked "shore-side" with international logistics firms in Boston and attended nights at the Massachusetts School of Law, earning his JD.
Fred's volunteer work includes leading educational workshops with seniors, holding regular office hours with Scituate’s Council on Aging, and taking part in the Plymouth County Probate Court's "Lawyer of the Day" program.
In his free time Fred enjoys boating, fishing, wood carving, and powerlifting. Fred is also never far from his loyal companion Iggy, the English Bulldog.
